Man and Machine magazine Issue 1 is currently being distributed to subscribers and will be in newsagents etc within a week or so.
Man and Machine magazine is the brainchild of Glen Everitt, who is a well-known face around the Australian muscle car and classic racing scene. The magazine follows the successful TV series by the same name.
Although I’ve seen Glenn around the traps over the years and said g’day, we were only formally introduced at the recent launch of the book “Bolwell: An Australian Icon” to which I was a major contributor.
Glenn told me about the magazine and I immediately subscribed. In my view there just aren’t enough magazines in this particular segment of the motor enthusiast market.
The first issue of Man and Machine magazine certainly stomps Glen’s dedication and his authority in the Australian classic car/muscle car scene. There is a great opening story about his Falcon XY GT-HO tribute car. This is followed up by Part 1 of his XY GT-HO race-car, Project Warhorse.
Rob Luck, editor and publisher of “Bolwell: An Australian Icon” also has a column “Best of Luck”, which I assume will be a regular occurrence. Rob has also written a brilliant article about a 1973 Bolwell Nagari, which also features briefly in the Bolwell book.
There are plenty more articles which will appeal to Aussie and imported classic and muscle car enthusiasts.
The best way to see more of this new Australian publication is to subscribe at the Man and Machine magazine website.
Or you can check out Man and Machine magazine on Facebook.
This post is an unashamed and unsolicited “plug” for Man and Machine magazine. It promises to be a great read for classic and muscle car enthusiasts.
